EXECUTIVE PAINT PROTECTION PAINT PROTECTION CLEAR BRA PROCESS:
Executive Paint Protection offers Avery Nano Fusion and Xpel Paint Protection and Headlight Protection installations in a climate controlled environment with temperature ranging from 60°F to 90°F which is optimal for all Paint Protection Film installation.
The application surface is thoroughly washed followed by a clay bar process to ensure all contaminants such as road tar, grease, wax; dirt, oil, and bug residue are removed. Once the surface has been clayed we polish the vehicle utilizing Menzerna Polishes to level and perfect the paintwork prior to installation. Once polished the surface is thoroughly wiped with an alcohol solution to remove any residue remaining.
Executive Paint Protection utilizes the Design Access Program along with their 64” Graphtec Plotter to design and cut precision clear bra kits for any vehicle from 1990 to the present. The software enables for the Executive Paint Protection staff to custom design the proper protection for you vehicle without the need to trim on your vehicle. Once the clear bra kits are plotted the installation process begins. Many of our clients include Lamborghini Clear Bra, Porsche Clear Bra, Ferrari Clear Bra, Bentley Clear Bra, Aston Martin Clear Bra, Nissan Clear Bra, corvette Clear Bra.
Hood Installation:
By using the installation gel solution, we thoroughly wet the paintwork as well as the adhesive side of the kit. The kit is then centered between both fenders and all edges are overlapped to enable for complete edge wraps providing for a clean look.
Under the center of the kit, spray a small amount of installation gel. Gently squeegee the hood piece
vertically at the center starting from top down with increasing pressure and overlapping strokes to create
a four inch wide area free of solution.
Now that the material is anchored at the center and will not slide out of place, lift one end of the material
up to the point at which the kit has adhered. Spray the adhesive side of the material and the hood with the
installation gel solution.
Gently stretch the kit into position using one hand to line up along both front and side edges of the hood,
ensuring the additional overlap clear bra has enough to wrap all edges.
Spray the end of the kit with alcohol solution and tack the side of the film onto the hood end. The alcohol solution allows the material to adhere quickly onto surface, it is important to work quickly in order to hold the kit along the side of the hood.
Starting from the middle point of the anchored center of the hood, we make a horizontal stroke using the squeegee toward the side edge of the hood.
Starting back at the center, we make upward and overlapping strokes from the adhered horizontal middle to the top edge of the kit moving toward the first contoured area of the hood. The same is done on the lower half with downward strokes starting from the middle toward the bottom edge of the kit until the contoured area of the hood is reached. Firm pressure is necessary in order to avoid trapped bubbles underneath the clear bra material.
If there is a groove or valley on the hood, we spray a large amount of alcohol solution under the groove to wash away all the gel solution underneath.
The trailing edge of the kit is then squeegee down into the ridge until completely sealed. This can be done
by pressing down the clear bra into the deepest part of the groove and squeegee the kit from side to side
starting from the top of the ridge. Slide fingertips down the groove to the front edge of the hood with
pressure to expose excess material, and squeegee the remaining section.
Squeegee the film from the ridge toward the headlamp using firm pressure while stretching the kit around
the grille.
If any area along the edges has lifted back up, we wrap the squeegee with a paper towel and squeegee the lifted edges again. The paper towel is used to absorb any moisture around the edges that interferes the adhesion of the clear bra.

Executive Paint Protection Products protect the leading edge of your vehicle from damage caused by rocks, gravel, salt or insects through the application of a thin and virtually invisible urethane film. All Avery & Xpel products are computer cut to ensure rapid and damage free installation utilizing our Graphtec 64” Plotter and DAP Software.
Clear Bra Paint Protection Film is a rugged eight mil (.008″) clear Urethane plastic employing a clear-coat finish for maximum shine. This durable material has been used successfully for years by the military, various auto manufacturers, and NASCAR race teams in rock chip prone areas with incredible results.
Executive Paint Protection Film will not to yellow, crack or peel for 7 years after installation.
Fenders Installation:
The Installation gel solution is used to apply smaller fender pieces as well as complete fenders. It is usually easier to begin the installation by lining up the front edge of the piece with the front edge of the fender, ensuring that all wrapped edges of the film are properly aligned.
The aligned area is then squeegee using increasingly firmer strokes until the area is solution free in order to anchor the clear bra in place.
The rest of the piece is then aligned and some gentle stretching might be necessary to achieve the wrap around all edges.
For the remaining parts, we squeegee using firm and overlapping strokes to avoid leaving bubbles.
With heavily contoured fenders, we wrap the squeegee with paper towel and run over the edges again using firm strokes to push out any fingers or wrinkles found along the edges.
In the instance that there is a complex curve or edge we utilize the Xpel edge prep to ensure maximum adhesion.
Mirrors Installation:
We wet the mirrors thoroughly using the installation gel solution, and lay the mirror piece on the surface to be covered. Ensure that enough gel solution is present in order for the kit to move freely. The kit is then
aligned evenly around all edges, and we squeegee it in place around the inside edge.
Now that the piece is anchored on the inner edge, we spray alcohol under the rest of the kit.
By placing a wet hand on top of the outer edge of the film, stretch the film outwardly until all wrinkles are
pulled out from all edges around the kit.
Squeegee outwardly using firm strokes starting from the inner edge of the mirror. It is normal for the
squeegee to bend indicating sufficient pressure is applied to hold the piece down in place.
Any remaining gel solution on the edges is then washed out using the alcohol solution. Using very firm
strokes, squeegee any wrinkles from the center out. If necessary, push out any stubborn wrinkles with the
squeegee wrapped in paper towel.
Headlights Installation:
We use an alcohol solution to thoroughly clean the surface of the headlights being certain to remove all grease, wax, tar and dirt. If the lens has damage or is faded we offer a headlight restoration service to restore the lenses to new condition before protecting with Xpel Headlight Protection Film.
Before removing the protective backing paper, dry fit each piece to be certain that you are applying the proper piece on the proper light. We apply the piece to the light and use our hand to smooth the piece onto the light from the center out. We then use the squeegee to force the solution out along the edges of the piece by using firm, continuous strokes, from the center out.
On contoured surfaces, the adhesive will not stick to the lens immediately. In this case, we use the heat gun to gently heat between the lens and the plastic. This will soften the plastic and evaporate
some of the moisture allowing for better contouring of the material.
Clear Bra Paint Protection Film Care Instructions
To keep your film looking great, Executive Paint Protection asks that you follow a few simple guidelines:
- Wait 48 hours after installation to wash your car
- Use only soft terry cloth or microfiber towels on the film
- Do NOT use abrasive cleaners on the film
- Do NOT use dyed or colored car waxes on the film
Removing Scratches
Light scratches in the film can be removed using a clean microfiber towel and denatured alcohol. Begin by thoroughly cleaning the affected area with a clean towel and water. Then, thoroughly wet a two-inch by two-inch area of the microfiber towel with denatured alcohol. Lightly swipe the scratch with the wet towel transferring some of the denatured alcohol to the film.
Allow the denatured alcohol to evaporate completely before touching the film again.
DO NOT rub the film with the denatured alcohol soaked rag. Doing so will permanently haze the film and will require replacement of the kit.
Waxing the Film
Waxing the film will prolong the life of the film, and prevent discoloration. Just like on your car’s paint job, wax fill in any open pores or scratches, improving its appearance and blocking contaminants. This is especially important in environments where pollution, pollen, or dust is prevalent. However, waxes that contain dyes and other chemicals may discolor the film over time and should be avoided. Executive Paint Protection recommends the use of Executive Paint Protection Film (Clear Bra) Sealant for best results.
Removing the Film
Professional removal of the film is recommended. However, when professional removal is not possible, the film may be removed as follows:
Warm the film with a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen the adhesive. 170° is the recommended temperature for this process. Keep the heat source moving to avoid melting the film or damaging the paint.
Peel one corner of the film up with your fingernail.
Pull the film towards you at a shallow angle less than 45 degrees (see figure 8a). This angle is important to ensure sure that the adhesive comes off with the film rather than staying on the paint. The film should “stretch” off the car.
If any adhesive is left on the car, use a general adhesive remover to help loosen it.
